Even though the weather doesn’t reflect it, spring is officially here. What better way to remedy a cold, rainy (or snowy) day than to grab a bouquet of spring blooms and crack open a bottle of Rosé.
This past weekend I tried Grow Wild’s 2020 Ravishing Rosé, which is now available at BC Liquor Stores for $16.99.
2020 Ravishing Rosé $16.99
Ravishing Rosé is a blend of grapes from the Okanagan Valley. It contains 50% Merlot, 29% Syrah and 21% Pinot Noir.
There are aromas of pink grapefruit, strawberry and crushed gravel. This Rosé is dry-to-off-dry. It is medium bodied with medium acidity and just a touch of drying tannins. The palate has a silky mouth feel, offering delicate flavours of pink grapefruit, strawberries and savory notes, followed by watermelon on the medium finish.
A big thank you to The Flower Factory in Vancouver for providing the gorgeous bouquet for this shoot. The Flower Factory is located at 4285 Main Street in Vancouver. They started as a business venture amongst friends, but over the last twenty-two years their business has blossomed into an award winning company that has been recognized as a leader in their industry.
