Yesterday was Canada Day, and it was rainy in Vancouver, so we celebrated with some liquid sunshine – a bottle of Winemaker’s Cut Boho Beat.
2019 WINEMAKER’S CUT Boho Beat $17.49
Boho Beat is a blend of Riesling, Kerner, Gewürztraminer and Viognier from the Chahal Vineyard, just north of Oliver, BC. The grapes were hand harvested and cold soaked for 3 hours prior to fermentation with wild and organic yeast.
This white blend smells like fruit cocktail and blossoms. It is off-dry with balancing, moderate acidity and a medium finish. The fruit cocktail continues on the palate with flavours of canned peaches, pears and pineapple, along with fresh lychee and floral notes.
You can find Boho Beat at select BC Liquor Stores, on sale until July 4th for $16.09.
