Emiliana Organic Vineyards

This week I had the opportunity to try some wines from Emiliana Organic Vineyards in Chile and these wines are perfect for the summer and patio season.

Emiliana is well known for their Syrah and Carménère dominant red blend, COYAM. Wines from Emiliana are not only organic, but they are also free from added flavours, colours, synthetic preservatives, vegan-friendly and sustainable.

Emiliana was started in the late 1990’s by Rafael and José Guilisasti. It was at this time that they were beginning to notice that the wine market was changing. Consumers were becoming more conscious about the products they were consuming, not just for health purposes, but for the environmental and social impact. So Rafael and José joined forces with winemaker Álvaro Espinoza and together they converted a conventional Chilean winery into one that is both organic and a biodynamic.
